Palais Jad Mahal

Located in the Palmery, outside of town, Le Blokk is well worth the taxi ride. The decor is chic, and dishes like duck with balsamic vinegar and lamb with thyme are reasonably priced. This legendary Moroccan a la carte restaurant is an all female owned concern where daughters are carrying on the good work started by their mother. The restaurant is excellent and the atmosphere is cozy and active. Once you pass the traditionally dressed doormen, this place is run like a family kitchen. A variety of Moroccan dishes are served, including specialties that require a day's notice. The restaurant serves about 13 tagines and so many other delicious meals and deserts.
