1) Djemaa Fnaa:

If there is a must see in Marrakech, Djemma Fnaa is it – a large square situated in centre vile with all the activities you can imagine being in a mystical arab city. Watch Moroccan story tellers, enjoy a horse buggy ride around the city, taste the fresh squeezed orange juice, or just be amazed by the snake charmers. The popular Moroccan souks around the corner and the impressive Koutoubai Mosque and Minaret are just a short stroll away.

2) Souks of Marrakech:

Situated next to the Djemma Fnaa, the souks are worth a stroll. Make sure you don’t miss the Moroccan spice vendors, and the paintings, leather goods, and carpets are a great souvenir to take home.

5) Saadian Tombs

Dating back to the 16th century, the Saadian Tombs are the resting place of Sultan Ahmed el Mansour and his family.The tombs are lavish and breathtaking with the cemetery garden alive with rich fragrances of rosemary and roses, with large palm trees providing shade. Inside the mausoleums the beauty continues and visitors will be surprised by the stunning domed ceilings, detailed wood and marble carvings, mosaics and intricate plasterwork. Be overwhelmed with the vast architecture and cultural history presented at the tombs and you will walk away amazed and in awe.

6) Chez Ali

Chez Ali is the place to have an incredible evening of entertainment. At the front gateway, Berber tribes greet and sing for you upon your arrival. Chez Ali delivers all sorts of entertainment food, music and dance. Once there, you can enjoy horseback stunts, the flying carpet, fireworks, belly dancers, folkloric spectacles, and fantasia shows.
One of the most intriguing things to watch is the fantasia show. The show is originated from the Rif; it is basically a war ceremony where each group of horseman exhibits the best rides if his tribe. Each group member quivers away and points his rifle to the sky and shoots at the same time as his tribe members.

7) El Badi Palace

Imagine 360 rooms, massive courtyards, and pools all richly decorated with Italian marble and large amounts of gold imported from Sudan. This was the palace of Sultan Ahmed el Mansour of the 16th century. Whereas some if it has been refurbished, most of the palace is in ruin state, however the design and complexity of this ancient ruin is something not to be missed.

8) Maison Arabe

La Maison Arabe has a legendary status in Marrakech. It is situated in the old Medina, the hotel includes 25 rooms and suites, most with private terraces and fireplaces. The hotel also includes a restaurant, a piano bar, and a world-famous cooking school that is open to guests staying at the hotel or elsewhere in the city. The hotel offers a number of other services such as a spa including traditional hammam where a variety of natural products are used.

The tour of the palmeraie is about 22 Km, it is very famous in Marrakech. It is 13 000 hectares and contains approximately 150 000 palm trees and some hotels. The location is very beautiful and enables the tourist to admire the sight of the Atlas Mountains.

10) Mederesa Ben Yousef

The Ben Youssef Madrasa was an Islamic college in Marrakech, Morocco, named after the amoravid sultan Ali ibn Yusuf who expanded the city and its influence considerably. It is the largest Medrasa in all of Morocco. Closed down in 1960, the building was refurbished and reopened to the public as an historical site in 1982.
